Amphibian Report Card
“Dinah is an extremely talented web developer and an excellent project partner. Our team of wildlife advocates was eager to establish an online platform to enable scientists and members of the public to share information about amphibian conservation and advocacy. We absolutely could not have achieved our vision without Dinah’s expertise. We approached her with relatively broad ideas and requests, and she offered not only outstanding technical skills, but also invaluable creative input, including offering us a variety of options and recommendations whenever needed. Even when our team unexpectedly modified certain elements of the project, Dinah was flexible and patient with us; without fail, she was able to accommodate new and changing goals for the site.
“In addition to being highly experienced and professional, Dinah was a delight to work with thanks to her enthusiasm, energy and humor. Our team is beyond thrilled with the website that she created for us, including its unique functionality and user-friendly tools and guides, and we will always be grateful to have had the opportunity to work with her.” ~ Carson Barylak, Amphibian Report Card, a collaboration of the Emerging Wildlife Conservation Leaders, the Foundation for the Conservation of Salamanders, and Save The Frogs!

Rare, Arlington, VA
“Working with Dinah was one of those rare pleasures to watch someone truly flourish over a period of time.
“Dinah was Rare’s first (real) web manager and she immediately set to work bringing order to our websites, solving a multitude of technical problems and putting in place a measurement system that was actionable. She did all this with very little direction from those above, and when she hit a hurdle she did the research to figure it out so that we didn’t have to spend the money on a consultant.
“Then things got really crazy. We decided to build a brand new website from scratch, along with an custom-made enterprise business reporting system to capture and score data from our conservation projects around the world (and have both systems talk to each other to share that information). Dinah was the lead project manager on both working with teams from across the institution. In the middle of this, our web development company experienced significant turnover and we lost key developers and project managers along the way requiring Dinah to essential train staff from that company.
“It’s likely impossible to capture just how complicated this endeavor was, but Dinah spent hours and hours (and hours) ensuring that both projects went smoothly and all stakeholders were properly engaged. In the meantime, she kept up on her day job (oh, and we built a third website fishforever.org over the course of about 8 weeks in the middle of all this).
“Both the internal reporting tool and the new www.rare.org vastly exceeded expectations and have been lauded by staff and others. Most organizations take something like this on with a team of web experts. Dinah was that team and it could not have been done without her.
“And if you need another reason to work with Dinah, she is the most incredible baker I’ve ever worked with!” ~ Jason Anderson, Senior Director, Marketing and Communications at Capital Impact Partners, former Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Rare.

“She also demonstrated a strong sense of accountability towards the success of her team and organization, as evidence by her willingness to teach others and learn whatever was necessary to fill any functional gaps that emerged in a cross-disciplinary team.
